Transcription on reverse:
"Chas. R."
The writing in the opposite corner of his name would appear to be the number "22". This would imply that it was at some point part of a collection. Similar number can be found on the photo titled "1910-1920". These could have been in the same collection.
Based on other photos of Charles, he appears to be beyond his teens, though this is only a guess and because he died at 28 I would only suggest he was in his 20s at the time of this photo.
