"When Anna was real young, she lived in an orphanage at Conception, MO. and spent her teenage years in St. Mary with grandparents and aunts. As a young adult she worked for several families in Tecumseh, where she met her future husband. Anna attended parochial school in Conception, MO.
On June 6, 1922, she was united in marriage to Leo A. Lempka, at the St. Andrew Church in Tecumseh. to this union four children were born.
Anna and Leo farmed northwest of Tecumseh all of their 67 years together. She was an adult life member of the Catholic church and a member of the St. Andrew's Altar Society."
