"Jack was born September 5, 1935, in Des Moines, the youngest son of Tony (Anton) and Nellie Hague Mihalovich. He was a graduate of Des Moines Tech Class of 1953 and continued his education at DMACC. He spent his entire career with MidAmerican Energy and its predecessor companies, retiring after 42 years of service. A man of deep faith, Jack was an inspiration to all who met him. He was a true family man; loving husband, supportive and nurturing father and encouraging grandfather. He was loyal to his friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Jack enjoyed gardening, Cubs baseball, travel, dining, wine tasting and having afternoon coffee with friends. He was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus." - Obituary, Des Moines Register 7-9 June
